"I broke my 5th Metatarsal and got one of these casts and it really helps with getting around the house. It makes walking actually possible!"
- Autopilot175
"Somehow the tendon on my left foot tore. Started with crutches and an Aluminum Splint. Two weeks after the operation one of this was put on by the Doctor. It works much much better than the aluminum splint that was put on at the surgery. Was told to stay off of the foot for another two weeks but it was too tempting and started using it after a week. Expect to be fully ambulatory by next visit."

"I was thinking about getting one of these because i just broke my ankle,... if youve used it what do you think? I would love to get some tips! Thank You! :)"

"Jackie,
I had a severely sprained ankle, and found that a taller boot (such as the FP or XP walker) immobilized my ankle better and provided much more comfort.
I just submitted an FP Walker review on this site, so you should be able to view that shortly if you are interested.
Good luck with your recovery!"

"Your company has the absolute best prices on Aircast that I've found. My husband's right ankle failed to fuse after surgery so he has a permanent non-union. He wears an Aircast constantly. "

"I purchased this brace after my Dr gave me a full one that went up to my knee, but wasn't comfortable at all. I am so glad I purchased this Aircast walker brace. It is so much more comfortable and stable, I can hardly believe it. I am short and the full length cast was just too much weight and not maneuverable at all. Thanks for providing a great product and the shipping was awesome!"

"Thank you for your comment, WENDY. You have convinced me to go ahead and buy this brace! In January, a drunk driver hit us head on breaking my heel bone into three pieces. After surgery and several casts, I was given the XP from my doctor. I felt extremely stable and began to walk again, but found that it was too tall and not very accommodating for a larger calf. This SP is perfect for my needs!"

"I was given an ace bandage in the ER and sent home to care for my two children. After almost a week of extreme pain my FP gave me one if these to use. I wouldn't have been able to chase my kids without this. A little heavy, but its going to be for what I needed."

"I recently had a Topaz coblation surgery for plantar fasciosis, as well as having to heal two stress fractures in my 4th and 5th metatarsal. This brace is comfortable, easy to put on, and makes walking MUCH easier than before surgery. For those of us with bigger calves, it is great . . . I tried on the FP walker in the doctors office and it doesn't allow much room for more generous legs. Make sure you get an extra liner/insole and a toe cover . . . especially in Wisconsin winters!"

"I have several hairline fractures in my foot that I happened just because of overuse. This boot is fantastic, it is a little heavy, but not compared to an actual cast. My foot immediately felt better, I could actually walk. And what is great is that you can adjust the air to you're comfort level and what feels good to you, versus a cast that is just there. I highly recommend this boot, it is comfortable, the only problem I've found with it is that it is a little heavy. Other then that it it just fantastic!"
