The Knee Cryo/Cuff combines the therapeutic benefits of controlled compression to minimize hemarthrosis and swelling, and cold to minimize pain. The cuff is anatomically designed to completely fit the knee providing maximum cryotherapy. The Knee Cryo/Cuff is available in three sizes for adults and is also available in a pediatric size designed for children 1 - 7 years of age. A sterile Knee Cryo/Cuff is available in adult medium and large sizes.

All Cryo/Cuffs can be ordered as a single cuff, or with a cooler (including a tube assembly and insulation disk). The Cooler is available separately and can be used with any model in the Cryo/Cuff line.

A Knee Cryo/Cuff SC (self-contained) is available that eliminates the need for a cooler — the cuff is filled directly with water and ice.

"I used the shoulder version of the Cryocuff in September of 2009 after 3 hours of surgery for two torn rotator cuff tendons and a torn biceps tendon. It is the same unit as the knee version with the small cooler and the plug in pump that forces the ice water through the cuff. It lasts a lot longer than any ice pack, stays cold longer and is worth every penny even if you only need it for 3-4 days post-op. For normal bumps and bruises it is also great - I just used my shoulder cuff for an MCL knee injury. Two caveats - you need a LOT of ice to fire this unit up for post-op use. I had a 50 pound bag and went through it in a day and half but there is no better solution for icing post op pain. The second caveat is that on the unit I had, there was no on/off switch on the wall plug or anywhere on the pump. A lame oversight for such an expensive unit. The knee version here is cheap compared to the $250 the orthopedist charged me for the shoulder version. Tommy B . "
